Hey There! Thanks for checking out my Blog. My name is Tara Wright, and I, like many of you, wear many hats. I am a nurse, a full-time employee, a wife, a mom (of three high-energy kids), a hobby farmer, beekeeper, and a traveler. I would often talk about my travel experiences, or how I survive travelling with kids, and found myself being the “advice source” to some friends and family (Which I totally LOVED). I wanted to share my passion for travel, and things I had learned along the way with other people to help them with their travel experiences, and sometimes share a laugh at how I discovered NOT to do some things.
THE FAMILY
I mentioned I was a mom, and a wife. I married my very own Jamie Fraser (Outlander fans you all know). Damien, my husband is the most wonderful man, and supportive of all of my endeavors. We have three kids, Calvin, my teenager, Tristan my school-aged middlest kid, and Oli the preschool aged princess. Life with the Wrights is a mixture of thousands of daily wardrobe changes, requests for Pizza, sibling battles, never finding shoes, zoomies at 9pm sharp (which in my house we have named the ‘whooping hour’), and a lot of laughter. Its messy, but it’s fun.
TRAVEL GOALS
You can imagine traveling with a bunch like us, can be … hectic. However, I am determined to make it an amazing, educational, and life changing experience. I have my travel plans mapped out over the next 20 years. I truly believe the difference between a daydream and a goal is a plan. And I have plans. Some of the places you may see me blog about will be Canada, Disneyworld, Antigua, Germany, France, Spain, Morocco, England, Ireland and Scotland, among many others.
AIMS FOR THE BLOG
What I hope to bring to you with this blog is some lighthearted storytelling, to have you vicariously experience travel with me, or inspire you to travel as well. I also want to share things that I learn along the way to ease the burden of travel, especially to people with families. I am eager to hear your feedback, and comments as well, and perhaps develop a community.
Let’s get ready to explore!
