Things to Do 

Old Sturbridge Village - Re-creation of an 1830s settlement with a costumed staff, rides & activities for family edutainment.

Plymouth Patuxet Museum - Plimoth Patuxet Museums brings to life the history of Plymouth Colony and the Indigenous homeland. Major exhibits include the Historic Patuxet Homesite, 17th-Century English Village, Mayflower II and Plimoth Grist Mill.

 

Plymouth Rock - Plymouth Rock is the historical site of disembarkation of the Mayflower Pilgrims who founded Plymouth Colony in December 1620

Boston Tea Party Re-enactment - A fully guided experience by costumed interpreters telling the story of that fateful night in 1773.

The Halloween Museum Salem - Museum about how Halloween has been celebrated through the ages.

Peabody Essex Museum-  Modern museum features regional American/Asian art & artifacts, plus an atrium & garden restaurant.

Count Orlocks Nightmare Gallery - Museum displaying wax figures of vampires, zombies & other characters from horror & monster films.

Witch History Museum -  Presentation & tour of various wax exhibits & dioramas depicting life in Salem in the late 1600s.

The Witch Dungeon Museum - Live reenactment shows of the 1692 Salem witch trial plus tours through a replica dungeon.

New England Pirate Museum- Educational presentations on historic pirates, plus wax figures, some artifacts & a souvenir shop.

The Salem Witch Museum - Life-size stage sets, exhibits & tours exploring the 1692 Salem witch trials, plus witchcraft today
